Em 1967 era lançado Velvet Underground & Nico, o debut do Velvet Underground e também marco na história da música. Esse ano o disco completa 45 anos e para celebrar a data a gravadora Universal Music prepara um box com 6 discos que promete fazer os fãs gastarem suas últimas economias.
Previsto para chegar as lojas em 1 de Outubro, o box terá o álbum original em versão Mono e Stereo, a versão Scepter Studios acetate que contém mixagem diferente e 3 versões completamente novas, o disco de estréia da Nico, “Chelsea Girl” e para finalizar gravações feitas no Factory rehearsals e o aúdio dos lendário show no Valleydale Ballroom, Columbus, Ohio.
